Thanks to VERY designed air intakes on ML350, these blower motors are prone to water getting into them and corroding shorting it out.
We had one fail at 25K, killing the battery.
This helped prolong the inevitable for about 100K and again it failed due to water damage.
So, ing how easy it was to change and found this fan to purchase.
It was perfect fit for the existing one, drop the cover, pull the plugs out, remove 4 screws and out comes the fan.
I put this in and it started right up when I turned the fan on..
It works great, very quiet and blows as strong as the old one.
Saved me quite few bucks buying this and doing it myself..
