Trane Thermostat for heating and air conditioning...

My Trane thermostat seems to work well with heating and cooling.
the system shuts off for while and the air vent starts to blow circulate air for about 10-15 minutes, and then it shuts off for 10 -15 minutes, the air vent starts to blow circulate air again.
My question is that am I able to set it off completely without off and on air circulation e.g when I am off on vacation for week or so, I want it off completely.
