Most of the zipper coils we see are the result of sharp tools stored inside the bag with the sharp side facing up.
Overstuffing your tool bag will very cause significant stress on the zippers that is above and beyond what the bag was built for and will cause the zipper to separate.
The handle is sufficient to carry the weight of all my tools, and the backpack gives me the flexibility of comfortable transport when I go to other locations, particularly hospitals, where I may have to walk reasonable distance.
Yes they're are pricey compared to other tool backpacks and bags out there and reality, from my own experience these other bags do not compare to the quality of the Veto ones.
The functionality is brilliant, as is the design of the mechanism that keeps the straps anchored to the chassis of the back pack.
