They are really easy to open, placed within the reach.
Also, they are wide enough so someone of constitution can pass through it.

If they are made of steel than there is possibility of crawling through it since the steel is durable material..
So yes, it's possible to crawl the air ducts theory, and in practice.
In life, there are lot of possibilities to hurt yourself. You can bump your head onto duct sealing, also, there are lot of week sections that you can fall through and major injuries.
So our advice would be leave the crawling to stuntmen...
