There are two type of engineer customers.
There are engineers that want to learn and there are engineers that do not trust that you know what you're doing, except do not know enough to do it themselves.
So they interrogate you to test you on their textbook understanding of refrigeration to see if you know your shit and then question your diagnostic and then complain about the price because they do not see value in the work you do.
Some of them will even tell you they already knew what the problem was to.
Techs that do not mind when customers hang out and watch and ask questions and techs that hate it..
I do not mind the inquisitive engineers that want to learn..
When the latter starts to ask me to explain to them how to make the repair so they can do it themselves nah...
I ca not stand Saturday-after-hour-call engineer that thought switching out his thermostat would fix his voltage short...
