This is my 3rd set of Titan gauges with shut off 1st set was stolen 2nd set is 4 years old, needed to replace the in the hoses few times however the charging hose brass threads are worn out from screwing it onto steel refrigerant bottles.
At this time I consider them to be the best gauges on the market even over all the digital gauges available and here is why.
Better weather proof when working in the rain, snow or direct sunlight ..
Having set of digital gauges that tell you superheat and subcooling plus measure vacuum is great until they break and then you are SOL until they are fixed.
Even using back up gauges you wo not be able to get your subcooling superheat or measure vacuum unless you have temp clamp and micrometer.
There is definitely place for digital gauges and most people I see using them do not need them, they are just waste money for them.
Do not fall for the hype of these manufacturers and the youtube reviews of people that are given high end digital gauges for FREE for review.
Trust me, if you do not NEED what 1000+ dollar gauges offer except want something nicer than your run of the 3 port gauges Yellow Jack 49968 are exactly what you are looking for.
However now they are all broken in one way or another from NORMAL use and I have grand worth of paper weights that are not even half the age of my original still perfectly Titan gauges..
And I'm not trying to knock digital gauges just make people aware of the problems you can spend more money to have.. Read more
