I selected Inficon's TEK-Mate 705-202-G1 as my first refrigerant leak preparation to enter HVAC R field.
It's the only real leak I own.
I have not used it more than handful of times, so take this review accordingly.
I've used it in residential, commercial and automotive applications so far.
Even on the low setting, I had time pinpointing what was small leak in the coil of the walk-in box.
I like the fact that it's made in USA and came with name brand alkaline batteries, so you can get started right away..
You might like that if you're working in extremely noisy machine rooms.
I thought it was too loud for every other situation, and the constant wailing of the alarm during the sensor's start up period got on my nerves.
