Hello, I'm working on Advanco fryer model # FF300-P BTU 90.000 Serial 16070423V. It's two-unit side by side, it started out not keeping the temp up for couple days, during frying except burners were on, pilot stayed on the unit.
On the unit, it has been keeping temp and goes into propane blast to keep the temp while frying, the Left-hand unit did not prior to it losing temp it seemed to work fine..
I did watch some YouTube did some testing on Dial thermostat tested good with the resistance tester one of the cooks were tough on it.
I read that Heavey pounding could pop in the thermopile and prevent the burners from keeping the heat up or shut them down prior to reaching temp..
One more thing transferring the oil, they wedged the refill tube between the thermostat and heat tubes, bent the thermo stat against the heat tubes.
They are sealed with liquid like thermometer has to create repeatable pressure on diaphragm that operates the inside the thermostat.
Do not know why they pound so hard on the dang thing, him they will not jam the return cleaning tube in so hard and leave it hanging there to bend the thermo lines against the baffles.
The bourdon tubes look fine, no kinks, crimped or crushed. tested the thermostat with Ohlms tester, prior..
Well darn it, one of the wires did seem little lose, the explanation of the power only half of standard flashlight battery helped me to understand how low 750mdc millivolt is..
On side note, I've been trying to reply it's been that way since I registered, it just does not want to work for me, I tried at the business highspeed internet and here at home, reloaded many times, log out and back in, same as the day trying to reply to Fixbear.
