Blow or vacuum the fins and air louvers on the outside of the unit.
Remove the top of the condenser shell with the fan and fan motor attached.
Spray the inside of the unit with the garden hose and nozzle.
From inside, direct your spray to the outside of the machine, cleaning out the coils and fins from top to bottom..
Vacuum out the inside bottom area around the compressor and the pad underneath..
Reinstall the fan and shell top using all of the mounting screws you removed and ensuring the electrical wires do not become pinched, cut, or dislodged..
Replace the inside your home and set the thermostat for AC to come on..
